The Full HD LV-HD420 projector offers a notably
higher resolution compared to the XGA LV-X420 projector, naturally resulting in
better image quality. The sharp display is especially apparent when Full HD
movies are being projected as the LV-HD420 can receive and transmit Full HD
signals at full resolution. On the other hand, with a resolution of 1024 x 768,
the LV-X420 promises to deliver good value with an indisputably clear
resolution, and is particularly suitable for cost-conscious consumers.

Powered
by DLP BrilliantColor™ Technology which features a 6 colour wheel over the
conventional 4 colour wheel, both the LV-HD420 and LV-X420 are capable of
projecting richer colours and more naturally-depicted images. This enhancement
is attributed to the addition of neutral colours – cyan and yellow, to the
colour wheel to increase saturation.

Connectivity
Connectivity
On
top of being able to connect with HDMI-compatible equipment, the LV-HD420 and
LV-X420 projectors are also compatible with the MHL interface, such that images
can be projected directly from a smartphone or tablet, through a MHL cable (to
be purchased separately from retailers). This enhances flexibility as
projection can be done directly from mobile devices, for classroom and office
presentations.

Ease of Use
The
LV-HD420 and LV-X420 is preset with five image modes: presentation, standard,
sRGB, movie/cinema and user manual so users can easily choose the mode(s) that
best serves the purpose of the projection. Under user manual mode, users will
be able to customize and store their preferred image settings. Both projectors
come with the closed caption on/off feature – when the closed caption mode is
on, audio, narration and sound effects are displayed as closed caption text for
enabled TV programmes (normally a symbol [CC] displayed on the screen or a TV
guide). The use of the closed caption mode effectively enhances the presenter’s
explanation with the help of the relevant text being displayed on screen.
