Singapore, May 23, 2017: At BroadcastAsia 2017, beyerdynamic will be unveiling the TG
500, a versatile wireless system that offers outstandingly appealing value for
money. As the successor of the proven Opus 600 series, the new system focuses
on modern features and can be used licence-free almost all over the world
depending on the frequency band selected. For performances on smaller stages,
theatre productions, speeches or presentations – the new beyerdynamic TG 500
wireless system is a genuine all-rounder! Be a great performer with the TG 500
wireless system!

The beyerdynamic TG 500 system is available in five sets, each
of which contains an individual receiver and two removable antennas. The TG 550
Vocal Set is supplied with the dynamic TG 500H-D handheld transmitter with a TG
V50 capsule (dynamic capsule, cardioid) and is perfect for singing, whereas the
TG 556 Vocal Set comes with a TG 500H-C handheld transmitter with a TG V56
capsule (condenser capsule, cardioid), making it the perfect solution for
presentations. There are matching microphone clamps for both handheld
transmitters. The TG L58 clip-on microphone (condenser, omnidirectional) from
the TG 558 Presenter Set can be worn in an inconspicuous position during
lectures, while the TG 534 Headworn Set with a TG H34 neckworn microphone
(condenser, supercardioid) is the perfect choice for theatre productions.
Electric and bass guitars can be miked using the WA-CGI instrument cable (6.35
mm mono jack), which is part of the TG 510 Instrument Set.

With an operating range of up to 120 metres, the beyerdynamic TG
500 allows for substantially greater freedom than comparable systems. The
switching bandwidth is up to 40 MHz, and the use of all the four frequency
bands available enables up to 72 channels to be operated simultaneously.

At the heart of every set is a receiver with a durable metal
enclosure and diversity antenna operation. Two of the 9.5” devices can be
mounted side by side in the rack. A dual receiver in 19” format (1 HU) is also
available and features a built-in antenna splitter. The two audio channels of
the dual receiver can be relayed via a common output if so desired.

Settings are communicated to the transmitters via infrared
synchronisation. The transmission frequencies are grouped together, but they
can also be freely specified by the user. A scan function assists with the
set-up process. The pilot tone function ensures interference-free transmission.
The handheld transmitters feature a mute button at thumb level on the
microphone shaft, and the beltpack transmitter has a programmable mute button
on the top. In addition to working with normal batteries, the transmitters can
also be operated using standard NiMH batteries which can be charged using the
optional WA-CD charging dock.

beyerdynamic will be presenting the TG 500 wireless system for
the first time in Asia from the 23rd to 25th May
2017 at BroadcastAsia 2017 in Singapore (Booth 6F4-05).

The recommended retail price for the TG 500 sets is between 479
EUR and 559 EUR (SGD 899). The TG 500 wireless system will be available for
purchase from selected retailers and at www.beyerdynamic.com in May 2017.
