NEC Indonesia showcases cyber and physical security technologies at CODEBALI 2016

Jakarta, 27 September 2016 – PT NEC Indonesia (“NEC Indonesia”)
today announced its participation for the second year at CODEBALI from 27-30
September 2016, at Padma Hotel Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. As a diamond
sponsor, the NEC booth is located at Booth 2-4.

CODEBALI is an International Cyber
Security Conference and Exhibitions that brings security experts for an
invaluable opportunity to share their thought, research and information to
showcase products and services and to create and strengthen cooperation and
partnerships. NEC will be showcasing its public safety capabilities in the
areas of cyber security and biometric solutions, including the NEC Cyber Security
Platform.

With cyber attacks on a rising
trend as we live in the age of Internet of Things where smart technologies and
devices are inter-connected, NEC is at the forefront of developing cyber
security technologies to deal with evolving cyber attacks. NEC uses

NEC will showcase its facial
recognition technology such as NeoFace® Watch which integrates with
existing surveillance systems by extracting faces in real time from video
surveillance systems and matching against a watch list of individuals. The
system then raises an alert when it identifies an individual of interest from
the watch list.

has been recognized as providing the world’s highest authentication accuracy

NEC will be presenting the InfoCage
FileShell software which automatically protects electronic files and limits
viewing and editing operations according to user rights so that users can share
personal information, design information, and other confidential information
safely and smoothly.

Mr Lauri Korts-Pärn, Chief
Technology Officer of Cyber Defense Institute, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC
Corporation, will also be presenting on the topic of “Cyber Training for CSIRT
Member” on 28 September at 1.15pm (Room A, Plumeria 1).

NEC executives will also host a
workshop related to building and management in Computer Emergency Response Team
(CERT) Development on 30 September at 9.00am-12.00pm (Room A,
Plumeria 1).
