Microsoft recently announced Microsoft FastTrack, a customer success service for small to midsized businesses (SMBs) designed to help them migrate to Office 365 with greater ease by extending onboarding and migration support, is now available for customers who have between 50 and 149 seats. Previously, available only to companies with 150 seats or more, FastTrack provides resources and dedicated engineers who can assist customers, or the Microsoft partners they work with, to implement Office 365, onboard users and maximize business value from the investment.
Notably, a recent report by Gartner which analyzed cloud email usage among Public companies of different sizes, industries and geographies found that Microsoft was leading in all segments, especially so among larger organizations. Microsoft partners who serve SMBs also note that companies reach a breaking point with free software at the 50-employee mark – the point at which businesses typically require centralized management capabilities, enterprise grade security features, integrated productivity and collaboration apps.
Through this initiative Microsoft aims to make it easier for SMBs to move to Office 365 and experience the ability for employees to access team files from anywhere, collaborate in real-time from any device and get enterprise-grade security that works as hard for them as it would for the largest organizations.
As of 1st February 2016, Microsoft FastTrack is available in the following countries: Australia, India, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Bangladesh and Nepal. Local language FastTrack managers will also be available in Korea, Thailand and Vietnam in the first quarter of 2016.
