Gartner Positions Datapipe in the Visionaries Quadrant of the 2015 Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting, Asia Pacific
Recognition based on the company’s maturity in Hong Kong, Singapore and China
SINGAPORE AND HONG KONG – November 18, 2015 – Datapipe, a leading provider of secure managed hosting and cloud solutions for the enterprise and government, today announced the company has been positioned by Gartner in the Visionaries quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting, Asia Pacific.
Datapipe’s data center facilities and maturity in Hong Kong and Singapore are a distinguishing factor highlighted in the report, as well as its ability to support domestic requirements in China. Datapipe was also noted as one of the few providers that support AWS as well as Microsoft Azure for infrastructure and managed services.
“There are few managed service providers that can match Datapipe’s depth of service and capabilities in the Asia Pacific market,” said Robb Allen, CEO of Datapipe. “Our deep understanding of this complex market and reach into Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore are key differentiators for enterprises in the region looking for a trusted managed service provider.”
Additionally, Datapipe’s broad range of managed services, including storage, security, and database management services, were also emphasized in the report, in addition to the company’s experience in migration for large customers and exceptional customer service and support.
Gartner also recently profiled Datapipe as a “hybrid hoster” in the Market Guide for Managed Service Providers on Amazon Web Services report, published in October. A hybrid hoster is a traditional managed service provider that also has an AWS management practice. Datapipe was profiled because of its status as an AWS Premier Consulting partner and its continued success in delivering services on the AWS platform.
Authored by Gartner analysts To Chee Eng, Kenshi Tazaki, Vincent Fu and Arup Roy, the Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting in Asia Pacific report was published on November 11, 2015. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant is designed to help enterprises migrating to cloud-enabled managed hosting to choose providers that can support their use cases and geographic requirements.
The report is based on vendors’ market responsiveness, as well as their product or service offering. This includes a provider’s cloud platform, range of services, managed and professional services, and service availability in all key markets.
