According to previous rumours on a lite version of Galaxy Note 3 known as Galaxy Note 3 Neo, the new smartphone’s specification has already been confirmed. The new smartphone will be coming with a battery which has a capacity of 3100mAH and will support microSD card expansion. There will be 2 versions available, namely a 3G version and a LTE version. The leaked version is a SM-N7505 device which should be the LTE model. This time, the LTE version will be equipped with Samsung’s own ARM CPU instead.
According to sources, Galaxy note 3 Neo will be equipped with a six-core Exynos 5260 CPU which is clocked at 1.7GHz. This CPU is in fact made with two Cortex-A15 cores and four other Cortex-A7 cores. This processor is equipped with a Mali T624 GPU which performs slower than the Exynos 5420’s Mali-T628.
It seems that this new budget friendly Galaxy Note 3 model will likely be released at next month’s Moble World Congress (MWC). Consumers can continue to wait patiently for its official release in the coming month.
