Students from School of InfoComm Technology, Ngee Ann Polytechnic showcased their various information security projects at the school’s incubator hub eGarage today. The exhibits focused on technical aspects of information security and different security exploits/loopholes in various platforms such as Windows, Linux and the Web.

These projects are all done by students based on their relevant research on their chosen topics. Students are graded by their depth of the research and understanding of the topic during their presentation at the exhibition.
The project exhibition aims to increase the awareness of information security by studying the impacts of various vulnerabilities in computer and network systems and also countermeasures to prevent or mitigate security risks from happening.
