According from sources from Taiwan, Acer is preparing to join in the android tablet pc cat fight with ASUS with their new Iconia B1device. The Iconia B1 main attraction is its pricing at 99USD. However, with some rumors of ASUS also coming out a 99USD tablet, will Acer’s moves be a tad bit too late?

Iconia B1 will make us of a 1.2GHz MTK processor and comes with a 1024 x 600 7inch display. Additionally, differentiating itself from the rumored Asus device, the B1 will have a SIM card slot, which means it will support 3G networks. The Iconia B1 will probably come in Q1 2013, and possibly be showcased at CES 2013.
