Seemingly, Windows 8 will be launched first in Singapore, even before the official launch in the US on the 26th October. Taking into consideration of the time difference, Singapore will probably be the first country internationally to launch Windows 8. Singaporeans will get their hands on the Windows 8 copies first.
Attractive prizes will be given out during the launch party and I suppose it will be a exciting events for all enthusiasts and geeks in Singapore. I do expect many Asia based media covering the event as well.
Many of us will be excited to find out if the Surface tablet will be available during Singapore’s launch. There is no news about the Surface tablet, but the launch of the tablet will take place in US on the 25th October, so there will be chances of the Surface tablet to be launched on the same day. Based on reliable source, until this date, no one in Microsoft Singapore has yet to touch or see a physical Surface tablet, so we are really unsure of the launch date for the tablet.
