Microsoft has already been working on the next generation of Operating System, codenamed “Windows Blue”. At this point of time, we are still not sure if Windows Blue will be the next big OS, or just an upgrade version to the coming Windows 8.
Microsoft will launch Windows 8 later in the month, but development of Windows 9 have already started. Head of Technology for Partners at Microsoft, James Akrigg, has affirmed the speculations at Misco Expo 12 held in Britain, stating that Windows 9 will be Microsoft’s next new big project.
When asked about his views on Windows 8, he stated that Windows 8 will be performing smoothly, but it is still far from perfection. Therefore, they are already putting much effort on Windows 9 to give users an overall better experience.
