ASUS’s presence at IBC 2025 includes a special segment for creators who are having issues or headaches about moving large files such as 8K footage and UHD photos – they are announcing ProArt series networking gears to help tackle that problem.
The star of the show is the ProArt Creator Router 7 PRT-BE59, pushing next-gen WiFi 7 with dual-band speeds up to 5,000Mbps on top of rocking a 2.5G WAN and LAN combo, plus three extra gigabit ports, it’s built for studios that juggle both wired and wireless setups. Add in ProArt Router Control Center and AiMesh support, and you’ve got smooth management with coverage that scales when needed.
On the wired side, ASUS rolled out the ProArt Creator Switch 10S PQG-U1080, a plug-and-play powerhouse packing up to 40Gbps of capacity. With 8x 2.5G ports and 2x 10G SFP+ ports, it’s tailored for teams moving huge files or streaming content at 8K without hiccups.
ASUS also officially demonstrated a sample footage capturing set connected with the RT-BE58 Go travel router and 5G-GO mobile device, which then sends the file securely back to the studio over VPN. Once in the studio, the ProArt Router 7 keeps WiFi stable while the Creator Switch handles the heavy lifting with 10Gb wired transfers.
The end result? Instant collaboration between the field and production without waiting around for uploads.
