Noctua has unveiled the NF-A12x25 G2, its latest flagship 120mm fan that builds on the legacy of the highly acclaimed original with a slew of performance and acoustic upgrades aimed at enthusiasts and professionals alike.
At its core, the NF-A12x25 G2 features a refined blade design made from Sterrox LCP material, allowing for an ultra-tight 0.5mm tip clearance. The addition of a Progressive Bend impeller, Flow Acceleration Channels, and a new Centrifugal Turbulator Hub helps push airflow and static pressure efficiency even further, making it a top-tier choice for demanding cooling setups.
Under the hood, Noctua has integrated its next-generation etaPERF motor equipped with Smooth Commutation Drive 2 and SupraTorque technology, enabling improved torque under high resistance scenarios such as dense radiators or tower coolers. It’s also fitted with the brand’s signature AAO frame that includes an anti-vibration gasket for better sealing on radiators and an optional inlet spacer to fine-tune acoustics in pull configurations.
The fan is available in three versions to meet different needs: a standard PWM model spinning up to 1800 RPM, a quieter LS-PWM model capped at 1100 RPM, and a dual-fan Sx2-PP set with a ±50 RPM offset between units for acoustic balance. All models include Noctua’s SSO2 bearing, a 6-year warranty, and a full accessory bundle.
As for pricing, the NF-A12x25 G2 PWM and LS-PWM models are available for US$34.90, while the dual-fan Sx2-PP set comes in at US$64.90.
