ASUS has added yet another PC case option to its portfolio, and they are calling it the Prime AP202.
The design language is quick to show as the sleek, panoramic curved tempered glass side panel gives a full view of the internals, and ASUS provides 2 choices when it comes to actual SKU – ‘Standard’ with no fans pre-installed for build modularity, or ‘ARGB’ that comes fitted with 3x MR120 ARGB fans out of the box.
Both variants also include a customizable LED light strip at the bottom of the case for a little ambient flair — all controllable via the ASUS Armoury Crate app.
It is also an airflow-focused case thanks to the unique slot-style vent below the panel that feeds cool air directly to the graphics card and other key components. ASUS even ran internal tests against a similar chassis from a competitor and found the AP202 offers better thermal performance, especially for GPU cooling. Plus, it supports 360mm radiators and GPUs up to 420mm long, so you’ve got plenty of flexibility.
As for quality-of-life features, ASUS made sure the building process is as smooth as possible. You get a 30 mm-wide cable management compartment, tool-less tempered glass that’s both durable and easy to remove thanks to an anti-drop mechanism, and an I/O panel with modern connectivity options like USB-C, USB-A, and a headphone/mic combo jack.
