ASUS has unveiled the Ascent GX10 which is a partner system containing the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip for AI computing at home with ease.
The idea of such a product is to streamline the development of AI by scaling down the cost (and of course, requirement) of cutting-edge technology to something that is acceptable to the consumer/prosumer market.
Although tasks like prototyping, fine-tuning, and inferencing large models demand significant memory and compute resources, at least with the power of NVIDIA GB10 Grace Backwell Superchip, everything that has been worked on this small machine can be directly scaled to a world-class level like DGX Cloud, thanks to software compatibility guaranteed by Team Green.
As for specs, it contains up to 1000 TOPS of AI performance alongside 128GB unified memory with FP4 data format support and is rated to manage gen-AI models of up to 200B with ease. The integrated NVIDIA ConnectX NICs can even bring 2 similar systems together to jack up resource and acceleration speed with little to no technical skills needed.
