Samsung has introduced a significant update to its Knox Suite, an all-in-one security and device management platform tailored for businesses. Previously available as a single-tier solution, Knox Suite now offers three distinct options, allowing for greater scalability and flexibility.
Designed to enhance security for Samsung Galaxy devices while streamlining IT operations, the updated Knox Suite maximizes workforce productivity through customized tools. With the addition of multiple tiers, businesses and organizations can now align their device management strategies with their specific requirements and budget, leading to a more efficient and intelligent ecosystem.
The three newly introduced tiers are:
- Base: Available with all Samsung Galaxy devices, this tier ensures seamless enrollment into Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions while maintaining government-grade security. It includes Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) and Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE).
- Essentials: Building on the ‘Base’ tier, this option adds Knox Manage for unified, cross-platform device management and Knox Remote Support for real-time troubleshooting.
- Enterprise: The most comprehensive package, designed for large-scale device management, offering granular OS version control, advanced insights, and specialized tools for frontline workers. It includes FOTA, Knox Asset Intelligence, Knox Capture, and Knox Authentication Manager, in addition to all features in the ‘Essentials’ tier.
As part of this update, businesses using Galaxy Enterprise Edition will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the Enterprise plan.
With deeper integration into existing EMM solutions, Knox Suite’s latest enhancements provide seamless device management without disrupting IT workflows. Samsung’s partnerships with leading EMM providers further ensure broad accessibility, enabling businesses to optimize their Samsung Galaxy devices with ease.
