ASUS’s AI-powered NUC products are ready to tackle demanding tasks with their compact yet powerful hardware.
Although NUCs are smaller than laptops, they don’t have batteries and require a wired power source. This eliminates power constraints, allowing for the inclusion of a discrete GPU for enhanced AI performance. For instance, the ROG NUC and NUC 14 Performance models can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.
The ROG NUC excels at managing intensive AI workloads and AAA gaming, while the NUC 14 Performance is well-suited for commercial and edge applications, thanks to its extensive I/O and display ports.
Meanwhile, the NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ models use the same Intel processors but omit the discrete GPU, relying on the built-in NPU within the CPU for AI tasks. These models are Intel vPro Enterprise-certified, offering business-grade AI performance, security, remote manageability, and stability—all in a compact chassis with tool-less access.
To further expand their NUC lineup, ASUS plans to launch the ‘Lunar Canyon’ AI mini PC in September 2024, featuring Intel Lunar Lake processors in a sleek sub-0.6-liter form factor.
