ROG Singapore has announced they are bringing in the ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard that takes the original Azoth and amps it up to a new level.
Transitioning from the “top metal, bottom plastic” construction of the original Azoth, the Azoth Extreme can be considered a “true custom” now thanks to the full aluminum-alloy chassis and metal frame that went through various manufacturing process that includes sandblasting, anodizing, and CNC machining for a stunning and durable look.
While current mass-produced keyboard kits often come with either PC or FR4 plates, the Azoth Extreme opts for carbon fiber instead for a full clack experience without the pingy metal sound, allowing a cleaner and crisp sound to resonate within. And of course, since this is a gaming keyboard with custom board spirit, it is filled with foams including a silicone pad and 2x poron foam layers.
As for mounting, it maintains the gasket mount design but it now has an adjustable ‘Hard’ and ‘Soft’ profile that you can switch on the fly with a simple flick.
The way they do adjustable feet is kind of interesting as well since it uses swappable magnetically connected feet with various heights. I know, a little bit impractical but hey the style points are definitely there.
For the ultimate gaming advantage, be sure to pair it with the ROG Polling Rate booster for a true 8000Hz polling rate and up to 1600 hours of battery life.
And the rest of the package stays the same as before – ROG NX mechanical switches, tri-mode connectivity, the 1.47-inch OLED display that has multimedia various other functionalities, etc.
