Care for a new set of home WiFi mesh to boost signals and get better and consistent Internet speeds? Well then, ASUS’s new addition of a couple of ZenWiFi Mesh Systems will do just that.
Designed to support the latest protocol, the new models are called the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro and ZenWiFi BT10 where both of them feature ASUS Smart AiMesh that utilizes WiFi 7 Multi-Link Operation (MLO) to deliver a wireless connection that is more low latency and high bandwidth through automatic band selection.
What makes them different is that for maximum wireless speed, ASUS recommends the BQ16 Pro for full WiFi 7 performance and coverage for that 30Gbps speed and 8000sqf area coverage while the BT10 is pretty cool for smart homes with dedicated wired backhaul but it can do well too, covering up to 6000sqf with a 2-pack purchase.
Both models were also given 2x 10GbE for robust high speed, stable, and dependable wired backhaul as well as a 10Gbps Internet port for a true future-proof purchase. Aside from USB 3.0 WAN, they also serve relatively well as remote connection hotspots since they can support 4G LTE and 5G mobile tethering for full uninterrupted connectivity.
Ample design consideration was also given through a strong set of quad-core CPUs for handling high-speed traffic, internal antennas and high-power front-facing modules to eliminate WiFi dead zones, as well as efficient heat dissipation.
Following the launch of the two ZenWiFi products are the new security suites named AiProtection Pro and an AI/ML-powered cloud database from Trend Micro in addition to exclusive technologies that safeguard the home network as well as each connected device.
