ASUS reveals new NUC 14 series with Pro+ and Performance models enabling high performance computing within a mini form factor

ASUS has officially revealed two new NUC products belonging to the NUC 14 series with the model names Pro+ and Performance. Let’s see what’s in them.

First off we have the NUC 14 Pro+ designed with aid from customer feedback which now sports a 5×4-inch anodized aluminum chassis which is slightly larger than previous generations but the modern and premium feel is definitely up a notch.

Taking up only minimal space on the space, you can even skip that and directly mount it onto the back VESA mount supported plates for even better cable routing and stuff.

Although it doesn’t come with a discreet GPU, the Intel AI Boost NPU provides power-efficient AI inferencing hardware to help you deal with all sorts of on-device generative AI applications.

ASUS also fitted with a new 6mm triple heat pipe, double-sided exchanger, and optimized airflow guidance for an optimal yet low-profile thermal solution.

On the other hand, the NUC 14 Performance is true to its name, equipped with the same range of Intel Core Ultra processors plus an NVIDIA GPU of either the GeForce RTX 4070 or RTX 4060 as well as a bigger form factor (but still smaller than most PC rigs out there).

With even more I/O ports, stronger wireless capabilities, and faster general connectivity, this is the one who wants performance over everything else due to their work requirements.
