With all the buzz around NVIDIA, whether about its CEO or AI advancements, let’s revisit its gaming roots where many titles are now enhanced with DLSS.
First up, we have Pax Dei, a social sandbox MMO set in a medieval world brimming with magic and myths. Although its reception is currently ‘Mixed,’ those who enjoy it can leverage DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex for a smooth world-building experience, with 4K performance boosted by an average of 3x thanks to DLSS 3.
Next, Still Wakes The Deep immerses players in an isolated oil rig that sort of reminiscent of SOMA in terms of the vibe and overall lighting. This FPS horror game benefits from DLSS 3 + Frame Generation and DLAA, enhancing immersion, while Reflex provides more frame advantages for those quick enough to escape. At 4K, DLSS 3 offers a 2.6x average performance uplift.
Additionally, Skye: The Misty Isle, currently in Early Access, utilizes DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, achieving a 2.4x average FPS boost. Reflex reduces latency, helping players fend off predators, explore the storyline, and enjoy the Viking setting with optimal performance.
Furthermore, Deep Rock Galactic S5 is getting DLSS 3, while THE FINALS S3 will receive DLSS 3 + Reflex + Ray Tracing.
