SteelSeries has announced yet another special project, this time pointing its blessing towards the Apex Pro Mini 60% keyboard. Behold the Limited Edition White x Gold model.
A complete premium upgrade from the standard model, this limited edition run sports a glistening white and gold combo from top to bottom. The top side is done with the white PBT shine-through keycaps and gold-tinted plate which is simple yet elegant.
The bottom however, is given a shiny brass weight etched with the logo and the unit number. Knowing the number only goes up to 250 which means only 250 will ever produced, the scarcity further emphasizes on the unique customer it aims for.
The case on the other hand, is made with CNC aluminum and combining the idea of an external weight more or less make this a “custom keyboard”.
Gaming performance is maintained through the use of the OmniPoint 2.0 Hall-Effect switch providing an actual competitive edge against the conventional mechanical counterparts through the Rapid Trigger feature together with an adjustable actuation point (Now from 0.1mm to 4.0mm) making it one of the “cheating” keyboards out there.
The board is complemented with a double-sleeved braided coiled cable for more style points and better cable management.
Besides the keyboard, SteelSeries also showed off the new COLORS series which is a collection of different colored peripherals for your setup inclusive of the coiled cable, doubleshot PBT keycaps, QcK mousepad, and Arctic Nova Booster Pack.
