After the major launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series graphics cards, various NVIDIA partners are introducing their versions of these potent GPUs so let’s just take a brief look at them.
ASUS
Let’s go with ASUS first and surely, the same “BIG 4” family returns in the form of ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt, and Dual. Before you ask, with the ProArt being the sole exception, the other 3 series have their own white version respectively.
The ROG Strix card, with a triple fan setup of Axial-Tech fans, delivers 31% more air and 56.3% more static pressure. It features a 0dB mode when idle or under light workloads, and the MaxContact heatsink facilitates efficient heat dissipation. Dual BIOS, dual FanConnect II headers, and ARGB tail lights are all maintained with no changes.
The TUF Gaming lineup offers an arctic military-esque colorway if you are bored with the original gun metal + orange flavor. With identical major parts to the ROG Strix series. It provides a lower-priced option for those willing to sacrifice some RGB features.
On the other hand, ProArt series features a classic full black design with a hint of gold, catering to designer builds that prioritize a classy look without compromising on features and temperature control.
Rounding them up is the basic Dual series with two fans and the iconic no-nonsense design. And yes, no RTX 4080 for them because they can’t really keep up with just two fans.
Here’s a quick table for all available SKUs they pushing out.

MSI
Meanwhile, MSI is doing what they are doing for years but they are adding a new series to the mix for 2024.
First, the baller, no-compromise, “best model money could buy” SUPRIM series with over-the-edge designs and the TRI FROZR 3S cooling system, including TORX FAN 5.0, up to 10 Core Pipes, Airflow Control fins with new Wave-curved 3.0 edges, and air antegrade fins for optimal heat dissipation.
RTX 4080 SUPER models include a vapor chamber for more cooling power while the brushed aluminum exterior on both the cooler and backplate provides an “armored feel” and reinforces the card’s length. RGB Mystic Light offers customizable lighting options.
For the EXPERT series, I think they took a little inspiration from the Founders Edition because that single blower is just way too obvious but MSI is confident about this series in reaching the same cooling capacity through the push-pull airflow design and Aluminum Die-Casting for robustness together with Core Pipe and a Vapor Chamber for effective heat removal.
The GAMING TRIO comes in black and white, with TORX Fan 5.0 design and a brushed-metal backplate. For RTX 4080 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER models, a nickel-plated copper baseplate in the core of the heatsink captures heat quickly.
Before you ask, the DUAL BIOS and Mystic Light are still there.
Meanwhile, the GAMING SLIM is available in black and white editions, featuring the TRI FROZR 3 cooling system with a TORX Fan 5.0 design but in a slimmer profile.
I do miss the times when GPUs only go to 2.5 slots at max.
Lastly, the VENTUS series of pure price-to-performance prioritization rocks a straightforward design equipped with TORX Fan 4.0 and a reinforcing backplate.
ZOTAC
For the guys over at ZOTAC, they are giving the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3 different looks: the AMP Extreme AIRO, Trinity OC White Edition, and Trinity Black Edition.
The high-end AMP Extreme AIRO edition features 5-Zone SPECTRA 2.0 ARGB lighting, animated effects, and durability enhancements like a die-cast metal backplate, large dual ball bearing fans, and a robust factory overclock.
Meanwhile, the Trinity model inherits cooling technologies from the flagship model and is available in two colors: Black Edition and OC White Edition. These models feature an aerodynamic design with a minimalist approach, noise-reducing enhancements, and more.
Similarly, the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will include Trinity models and an AMP Holo model with a distinctive HoloBlack design, showcasing angular, isometric design elements and robust cooling hardware.
As for the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, they are the most compact card in the lineup, with the Twin Edge and Twin Edge OC versions having just a dual-slot width suitable for most small form-factor PC builds. The Trinity model delivers improved cooling performance with its triple fan design.
