Remember the announcement a couple of months ago where GIGABYTE AORUS teased its Z790 X Gen motherboards for next-gen? Well, the next-gen is here.
The 14th Gen Intel Core S-Series desktop CPUs are shipping globally now and perhaps you’re eager to get one to pair with one of the high-end motherboards for the best performance possible.
Well, aside from being a “slight upgrade from Z690”, these new Z790 models will support the fresh and new WiFi 7 standard for superior wireless connectivity that can rival some of the basic boards’s wired connection.
Aside from that, the usual things like DDR5-8266 via XMP will be as easy as a few keyboard strokes plus DIY-friendly optimizations like the EZ-Latch mechanism for the GPU and M.2 slots can be found on these new motherboards too.
