TECNO has officially launched its new PHANTOM V Flip 5G foldable smartphone globally over at the Resorts World Convention Center last week.
As the 3rd member in the PHANTOM family, the V Flip 5G complements the horizontal-folding V Fold 5G and you’ll probably feel like they are copying the “Fold” and “Flip” naming scheme from Samsung.
Although technically correct, the design language is completely different as it has a super big rear bump hosting the cover screen and back camera but looking from the external angle, it feels like a giant camera bump instead and yes it has a name – The Planet.
Aside from doing lots of things on the cover screen as you expect, the FreeCam System aims to make your photo capture sessions much easier through various gestures and the usual voice command to engage “Shoot” remotely.
The rest of the systems are pretty standard, placing it on the above-average level which means great for daily driving and acceptable for the occasional mobile gaming.
