February 25th 2020, Singapore — realme, the fastest growing smartphone brand, unveiled its first 5G flagship smartphone, the “5G Speed Flagship” realme X50 Pro 5G, at the 5G product online launch event themed “Speed of the Future” in Madrid, Spain at 10 am yesterday (5pm SG Time).
realme X50 Pro 5G is the brand’s first 5G flagship, and among the first in the world to be equipped with the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 865 5G processor that supports Dual-Mode 5G network. It comes with 64MP Hawk Eye AI quad-camera, 32MP ultra wide-angle In-Display dual selfie camera, 90Hz refresh rate Super AMOLED display and 65W SuperDart Flash Charge, which make it an extremely competitive 5G flagship product with excellent performance.

Large-scale 5G commercialisation is slated for official launch this year in 2020. As realme’s first 5G flagship smartphone, realme X50 Pro 5G comes with outstanding network capabilities, supporting SA/NSA Dual-Mode 5G, along with the coverage all of the world’s mainstream 5G bands, including n1, n3, n41, n78, and n79, to achieve Dual-Mode full support of 5G.

Performance is the core of the realme X50 Pro 5G. The 5G flagship is equipped with the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 865 5G processor paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The new Qualcomm processor sees an increase of 25% in performance of both the CPU and GPU are increased by 25%, and has an AI processing chip which is 2 times faster than the previous generation. It is one of the smartphones firstly featured LPDDR5 DRAM, with the speed increased by 29% and the power consumption reduced by 20%, in comparison with LPDDR4X. The use of UFS 3.0+Turbo Write+HPB enhanced the speed by 80% and lowers the power consumption by 20%. realme X50 Pro 5G is a true 5G flagship smartphone with outstanding performance, offering three variants of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB.

To ensure maximum smartphone performance, realme X50 Pro 5G is shipped with 5D Stereoscopic Ice Cooling Pro technology composed of heat dissipation materials such as VC liquid cooling copper chamber, 3D graphite sheets of multiple layers and thermal silicon pads. The area of VC (Vapor Chamber) liquid cooling copper plate is up to 1821 mm2, which is larger than the traditional cooling tubes and can cover 100% of the core heat source. The heat dissipation capability is greatly improved, so that the smartphone can keep performing the best at any time.
realme X50 Pro 5G, with a 4200mAh dual-cell battery, is the first to be equipped with the brand-new Flash Charge technology—65W SuperDart. The new Flash Charge technology is able to charge the device at fast charging speeds even when the screen is powered on. It only takes 35 minutes to get the battery fully charged, which is one of the current fastest charging technologies in the industry. All variants are equipped with the new generation of GaN adapters to achieve higher power density with a smaller body and less heat. Better Experience, 90Hz Refresh Rate AMOLED Display
realme X50 Pro 5G is equipped with ultra large 6.44-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display which offers an aspect ratio of 20:9 and has an up to 92% screen-to-body ratio. It supports HDR10+, the 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and the sunlight display, reaching to the maximum brightness of 1000nits and the peak contrast ratio of 2000000:1. The brand new E3 luminescent material reduces blue light by 37.5% and power consumption by 5%.
realme X50 Pro 5G has a 90Hz refresh rate display, with the frame rate increase of 50% when compared to ordinary smartphone displays. Meanwhile, it has 180Hz sampling rate which improves the touchscreen sensitivity and the smoothness when using it to play games.
Thanks to the Super AMOLED display, realme X50 Pro 5G is equipped with the in-display fingerprint recognition function, which adopts the Goodix’s new generation of fingerprint unlocking model that only requires an average of 0.27s to unlock the phone. In the meantime, the security is furtherly improved as it is upgraded to the full-spectrum white laser projection and combines the high-light screen projection and powerful processing core, as well as the security filters embedded.
