Cooler Master just announced the launch of their brand-new MasterBox K500L in Singapore. With the latest case in the K-Series lineup priced affordably at S$89, gamers on a budget should keep this in their radar.
It features “gamey” red illuminated accents on each side of the front mesh panel, as well as pre-installed red LED fan and power buttons. On the cooling side of things, it features support for six 120mm fans and front/rear water cooling, and up to a lengthy 400mm graphics card.
In terms of design, it does looks pretty futuristic. It has a 3D mesh design on its front panel, affecting the way the red LED illuminates on its body.

The MasterBox K500L is the first release in a lineup that features 3D mesh, shaped to match the design on the front panel, with traits that change lighting depending on the angle. To accomplish this, a finer, single layer mesh was developed. Previously, dust filters came in two layers: one layer for aesthetics and a layer of finer mesh as a dust filter. The MasterBox K500L integrates both of those layers into one, resulting in a finer mesh construction. Thermal performance is accomplished mainly through the front panel, but complemented by filtered ventilation below the I/O, and ventilation on the top panel.
