For the GGXP, an entire hall has been reserved for various sorts of gaming activities. From tournaments to console gaming on a beanbag, GGXP is one of the more unique parts of the SGTCC. The aforementioned tournament – Republic of Gamers (ROG) Masters 2017 – by ASUS has professional gamers play qualifiers LIVE for Dota 2 and CS:GO. With a grand total prize pool of USD$500,000, players can vie for a sponsored trip to represent Singapore in the APAC Regional Qualifiers in Philippines.

Players can also have a hands-on experience with new and unreleased games. Endless varieties of games with Mario + Rabbids (Nintendo Switch) and beanbags at the Chillax Zone, to Stifled (PSVR).

Star Wars lovers rejoice! SGTCC showcased the life-size replica of Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer, from the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Additionally, you could also experience Rey’s Speeder and being inside the film replica of the Millennium Falcon’s interior!

There were also exclusive merchandises such as the Egg Attack Action EAA-055 Darth Vader Hologram Version and many more.

This year’s STGCC has been an amazing experience. It has a great atmosphere, all thanks to the constant music that is being played. Accompanied by its good use of space, made our time there pleasant.
