Inking features designed to increase productivity and inspire better
collaboration and creativity.
- The new
Microsoft Surface Pro: Introducing the most versatile laptop. The iconic
Surface Pro has been redesigned from the inside out to give people more of
what they love about Surface Pro—power and performance in a sleek,
versatile form factor. - Starting
at US$799, the new Surface Pro packs the power of a 7th
generation Intel Core processor into a new fan-less, whisper
quiet design for 13.5 hours of battery life. - We’ve
made Surface Pen more sensitive by quadrupling the levels of pressure
sensitivity to 4096 and reducing the activation force – making inking
easier and more natural. - The
new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover is elegant,
accurate, durable and easy to care for. - Microsoft
Office brings inking to life: We are making the creative power of the new Surface
Pen available in the world’s most powerful productivity suite: Microsoft
Office. - New inking features in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
include a customizable gallery of your favorite pens, pencils and
highlighters that roams with you as a personalized setting across Office
apps and devices, along with support for tilt and shading with the new
Surface Pen. - Additional
inking experiences will continue to roll out in the future, including the
new Microsoft Whiteboard app, which offers a limitless canvas
for creativity and collaboration with simultaneous two-way inking,
intelligent ink conversion and more—coming to more Windows 10 devices
over time.
