Renesas Electronics Singapore Showcases Renesas IoT Sandbox at IoT Asia 2017

Renesas Electronics Singapore, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions in South-East Asia, India and Oceania, today announced it is showcasing the Renesas IoT Sandbox at IoT Asia 2017 between March 29 and 30 2017 in Singapore.

The Renesas IoT Sandbox which is on display at Booth D05 today and tomorrow under the umbrella theme of “Renesas – Enabler of Big Ideas for Every Space”, is a comprehensive cloud-based environment where customers and partners can prototype their Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and accelerate their innovative big ideas to market. In this age of speed and complexity, the Renesas IoT Sandbox helps turn ideas into prototypes quickly and securely.

Other highlights on display at the Renesas booth are PLC Smart Sockets from RFCOM technologies (a smart home energy monitoring system), a Waste Management Solution from Nextan (a wireless ultrasonic sensor and cloud based software data-intelligence system to manage waste) and a Smart Parking System (also from Nextan) all leveraging Renesas technology. With Singapore setting its sights on becoming a Smart Nation, these IoT solutions are seeing tremendous use and relevance today.
