Electronics (LG) today announced the launch of its game-changing LG 77” G6 SIGNATURE
OLED TV and SH6 Sound Bar in Singapore. The launch comes just in time for the
holiday season, a time for families and loved ones to spend more time together.

The launch of the 77” G6 SIGNATURE OLED TV and SH6 Sound Bar
follows the successful rollout of the 65” G6 SIGNATURE OLED TV and SH series
sound bars earlier this year. The revolutionary
picture quality and increased viewing angles of the LG OLED TV promise a
thrilling and immersive visual experience. With superb visual experience comes
the need for a powerful audio journey. High-quality audio systems like the SH6
Sound Bar enhances the overall viewing experience, offering the ability of
audio solutions to sync with video contents as well as streaming music.

great content. With the rise of on-demand streaming solutions like Netflix, families
can now choose to play their favorite content. Complemented with the smart

77” G6 SIGNATURE OLED TV: A Triumph of Innovation

LG’s newest addition is the 77” G6 SIGNATURE
OLED TV. Already honored at the CES 2017 Innovation Award, iF Design Awards 2016, and highly praised by judges
for its stunning 2.57mm-thin OLED panel, the TV is as
thin as just four stacked credit cards. It is also one of the first TVs to bear LG’s unique
Picture-on-Glass design concept. 

Embodying LG’s overarching
principle to “Eliminate Every Unnecessary Feature,” the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV
has shed every unnecessary element except for those essential to delivering the
best picture and sound quality possible. It also boasts the company’s most
advanced television technologies including OLED displays, 4K resolution, OLED high
dynamic range, Ultra HD Alliance’s (UHDA) HDR10 and Dolby Vision.

LG SIGNATURE has received the
Ultra HD Premium seal from UHDA for meeting the demanding standards set by the
industry organization. The Ultra HD Premium seal recognizes a TV’s strong
capabilities for resolution, HDR, peak luminance, black levels, wide color
gamut and audio quality, among other criteria.

Another salient capability of the LG SIGNATURE
OLED TV is Dolby Vision, which combines two powerful capabilities – high
dynamic range and wide color gamut – and delivers astonishing images that,
compared with standard pictures, achieve brighter highlights, more
light-to-dark contrast, and colors never before seen on TV. An end-to-end
solution, Dolby Vision works from content creation to distribution and is also
a universal playback solution. Dolby Vision has already received support from
most major Hollywood studios including Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Sony
Pictures, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios,
all of whom have already announced a commitment to deliver Dolby Vision content
for home distribution.

SH6 Sound Bar: A Sonorous Audio Experience

LG’s SH6 sound bar will smartly enhance
the home theater sound experience with its rich sound quality and responsive
settings.

The sound bar supports the new Adaptive Sound Control (ASC) feature, which is
LG’s unique sound enhancing technology, allowing the sound bar to detect and
change its own sound settings to suit a range of media types. For example, when
it senses high levels of vocalization, like on the news or the narration part
of a documentary, the ASC feature will lower the bass level to make dialogue
crystal-clear.

LG’s sound bars have great connectivity potential with Google Cast™, which gives listeners a variety of content options.
With Google Cast built-in, users can cast
millions of songs, podcasts and stations from the Cast-enabled application on
their own smart phone.
