Canon PIXMA MG3070s empowers home users with high quality prints

– Canon today announced the introduction of the PIXMA MG3070s, a wireless
multifunctional device with print, copy and scan functions for both home and
small offices with basic printing needs. Sleek and compact in design, coupled
with wireless connectivity, makes the PIXMA MG3070s the perfect fit for small
working spaces.

Particularly for home users who print occasionally, the
PIXMA MG3070s comes with ink cartridges PG-745S and CL-746s. They are capable
of printing up to 100 pages each, delivering a practical and cost effective
solution. The PIXMA MG3070s prints up to 8.0 images per minute (ipm) in
monochrome and 4.0 ipm when printing in colour.

For users who require higher print volume exceeding the
yield capacity of the bundled setup ink cartridges, the alternative standard or
XL ink cartridge options are also available separately.

Equipped with easy
wireless setup and connection, the PIXMA MG3070S allows for a quick switch
between the wireless infrastructure connection, and Access Point Mode
connection.

With its built-in
Wi-Fi capabilities, the PIXMA MG3070S can be installed in any home or small
office with a local wireless network. Through the cable-free Access Point mode
that enhances connectivity, a wireless connection can be easily established to
mobile devices even without a wireless router.

With cloud compatibility, the PIXMA MG3070S offers print and
scanning mobility when paired with the Google Cloud Print[1]
service.

The PIXMA MG3070s
pairs effortlessly with the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY mobile app using wireless
connectivity. This allows users to print and scan documents as well as photos
with a variety of mobile devices functioning on both iOS and Android operating
systems. From the app, users can view remaining ink levels, make changes to
printer settings, and register their printers to new cloud services, while the
remote copy function allows them to make a document copy when users are not
physically at the printer.

The convenient app
also supports intelligent power management via the Auto Power ON/OFF setting,
enabling automated shut down after a period of inactivity, and is powered up
again when a print job is received.

The PIXMA MG3070s is now available at all Canon authorised distributors
and dealers at a recommended retail price of S$79.
