Singapore, 12 October 2015 – Epson, the world’s number one projector maker since 2001, introduces a new series of high brightness projectors that deliver vibrant crystal clear images for corporate boardrooms, hotel ballrooms, museums and auditoriums. The new EB-G6000 series of high brightness business projectors which offers beyond Full HD resolution and up to 7,000 lumens now comes with enhanced connectivity on HDBaseT.
The Epson EB-G6000 series combines dynamic image quality and versatility to produce up to 7,000 lumens of light output. The WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 is beyond Full HD and delivers a superb high resolution image display during playback of full HD videos from Blu-ray Discs and other graphic-intensive media. Users can be assured of crystal clear and colourful lifelike images.
The EB-G6000 series of projectors are ideal for large auditoriums, lecture halls, and conference rooms. Epson’s advanced optical engine system ensures full colour intensity even in environments with high ambient brightness levels. The EB-G6000 series incorporates Epson’s Auto Iris feature with C2Fine™ technology that automatically adjusts images for optimal clarity, enabling a high 5,000:1 exceptional contrast for vivid image production.
The EB-G6000 series of projectors also incorporates a host of advanced features. In order to create greater connectivity, Epson’s EB-G6000 series is equipped with additional ports to be compatible with a wide range of external devices. These include Displayport, HDBaseT and HD-SDI. Users can now overcome challenges in cable distance and achieve greater cost efficiency by using the low cost Cat5e/6 cabling infrastructure to deliver high quality multimedia content such as HD video and audio.
The G6000 series also brings versatility to installations for possible high setups with wide lens shift. The wide lens shift feature enables users to enjoy flexibility of placement, offering an extended maximum vertical lens shift of 67% and a maximum horizontal lens shift of 30%. Users can select from a range of 6 optional lenses to suit various throw distances. The projectors also come with 360° projection capabilities for projection of images from any angle to overcome the most challenging installation scenarios.
The in-built edge-blending technology in the EB-G6000 series enables multiple projection images to be joined together to achieve larger and more compelling presentations through the use of multiple projectors. Users can control the brightness of the crossover edges and fine-tune the colour adjustments to blend adjacent projections seamlessly together, and create large stunning panoramic pictures that captivate the audience.
Arc correction technology can easily correct vertical or horizontal distortion of the projected image on large screens, while its point correction capability can correct projector distortions, point by point, directly on screen. The EB-G6000 series is also able to project on both curved surfaces and on corner walls, making full use of these unusual surfaces for advertising or exhibition display.
“We are continually looking to push the standards in projector technology to offer new innovations and a wider range of features and capabilities. We will continue to innovate to bring new capabilities to our projectors and to meet the expanding technology needs of our customers worldwide,” said Ms Tan May Lin, Epson Singapore’s General Manager (Sales Division).
