process and stringent scrutiny by a panel of esteemed judges, ROG G20 was honoured with a 2015 Gold Taiwan
Excellence Award through a combination of exceptional design and outstanding

ROG G20
has a slim, compact 12.5-litre case that features a matte-black finish,
aggressive lines and Mayan-inspired markings. It is powered by a 4th-generation
Intel® Core™ i7 processor and NVIDIA® GeForce®
GTX™ 970 graphics card for unprecedented levels of gaming and
multitasking performance, allowing users to play most mainstream gaming titles at
their highest settings and watch videos in 4K/UHD (ultra-high-definition)
resolution.

Intelligent Thermal Design

ROG
engineers designed the ROG G20 with
no visible external side-exhaust vents in order to preserve the neat, clean
lines of the chassis. The ROG G20
boasts a thermal design that takes advantage of natural convection, with a
hidden airflow channel and two internal fans to ensure efficient heat
management, making it ideal for marathon gaming sessions. On top of that, it
runs silently at just 22dB at idle, which is much lower than the industry
average of 28 to 32dB.

Designed with Gamers in Mind

The ROG G20 has customisable lighting
effects that showcases up to 8 million colours on the front and underside of
the chassis, reflecting the feel of the game currently being played to further
add to the experience. There are also lighting effects whenever a CD or DVD is
inserted into the machine, along with a gently-pulsing ‘breathing’ lighting
effect.

The
ASUS-exclusive Aegis application provides real-time performance monitoring
through a user-friendly interface. Aegis lets users track CPU and memory usage,
as well as internet download and upload status. Temperature and voltage
thresholds can even be set for the system to maintain and monitor
automatically.
