In preparation for breaking of new PC records thanks to Intel’s new X99 chipset and Haswell-E processors, ASUS has gone all out for their latest and greatest motherboard – The Rampage V Extreme.Rampage V Extreme is the highest end motherboard we’ve seen so far in the market. It has got all the features that overclockers want to get that record. All that is left is their luck on the processor.
Today, we’ll have a first look at this motherboard. When I get my hands on the processor, we will look at how this motherboard and the whole platform performs.
On first look, you will see that this motherboard is of E-ATX form factor like any other Rampage Extreme series. You simply can’t contain so much goodness in a smaller form factor.

We are definitely excited with the upcoming Intel X99 platform. The first look of the ASUS Rampage V Extreme already got us high on what wonders this motherboard can actually do. Stay tuned for a more in depth review of this motherboard when we manage to get our hands on the processor and some DDR4 memory DIMM.
