Singapore, April 2014 – Fending off stiff competition from some 1816 manufacturers and designers from 53 nations, Jabra’s Solemate Max wireless speaker and Rox Wireless earbuds have triumphed over the rest to win the acclaimed Red Dot: Product Design 2014 award for excellence.
These latest additions to Jabra’s line-up of wireless music accessories continue a strong tradition that combines sophisticated audio engineering with stylish design and high quality materials.
Commenting on their achievement, Suzaan Sauerman, Jabra’s Global Senior Director for Consumer Solutions, said: “We put a lot of effort into ensuring our products have the right look, colours and materials to suit our customers’ lifestyles. As we continue to seek ways to enhance people’s daily lives, we always aim to strike that perfect balance between fashion and functionality. After all, people want audio accessories that not only sound great but also look and feel good.”
The Solemate Max is the latest addition to Jabra’s wireless speaker family with its trademark sneaker sole. This high-fidelity speaker with Dolby® sound is lightweight and sits comfortably in the living room, while being rugged enough to take outdoors.
From stainless steel materials to rich Dolby sound and a comfortable, low-profile fit, attention was paid to every single detail when designing Jabra’s Rox Wireless earbuds and the Red Dot stamp of approval is testimony to this.
The Red Dot Product Design is one of the world’s largest product competitions and it has been in existence since 1954. The Red Dot jury looks for the best achievements in international product design and the award is an internationally recognised quality seal.
