The new Redmi smartphone which recently reached our sunny shores have been making the news lately. Exactly at noon earlier, Xiaomi started the sales of the Redmi smartphone at their official Singapore website. It has been reflected from their facebook page that many encountered technical errors when trying to purchase the new Redmi device while others were simply too late to get their hands on it.

Later, Xiaomi officially announced on their Facebook page that all Redmi devices were sold out in 8 minutes. This is surprisingly fast for a new comer into our market. Congratulations to those who successfully placed their orders as well. Xiaomi stated that they will announce their next round of sales shortly.
