Samsung and LG are both readying their flexible display smartphones for the market. Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Round and have left deep impressions in consumers. LG has just recently showed that new G Flex smartphone which also utilizes similar flexible display technology.
LG has already started mass productions of flexible displays for smartphones. According to Engadget, the new LG G Flex will use the same display. They even released three image renderings of the LG G Flex. The new smartphone is expected to arrive next month. It is confirmed that it will be 6-inch in size, but other hardware specifications are still unknown at the moment.
Although both Samsung Round and LG G Flex have both curved designs, they are different in the direction of the curves. Galaxy Round is curved horizontally while G Flex is curved vertically.
