At the same time Nvidia is also developing their new ARM Tegra 5 processor. Codenamed “Logan”, the processor will have a integrated Kepler architecture GPU and supports CUDA and OpenCL 4.3. The new Tegra processor is expected to be completed at the end of this year and released in early 2014. It is reported that Nvidia will use their new chip in the higher end tablet while a Tegra 4 chip in a more affordable tablet.
Nvidia has launched their current Shield handheld gaming console with their latest Tegra 4 processor. Rumours have also surfaced on the internet on the new Tegra 4 Tablet PC from Nvidia which comes in a 7 inch form factor with a resolution of 1280 x 800, running on Android 4.2.2. The new tablet is expected to be released at CES2014.
