Today, ADATA announced the launch of XPG V2 Series of DDR3 3100 4GB RAM. These memory chips are specially tested to make sure that they run at 3100MHz and above and it supports XMP 1.3 standard. This means that you can reach memory speeds at 3100MHz by just setting the memory profile from the BIOS.
The ADATA XPG V2 can reach speeds of up to 24800MB/s and uses a 8-layer PCB. The memory is sold in 4GB x 2 kits. XPG 3100 V2 4GB is the result of the collaboration with ASRock and will be supported with Intel’s latest Haswell processors and Z87 motherboards.
Additionally, all these memory are cooled with TCT thermal dissipation technology. It is rated at DDR3 1333MHz CL9-9-9-24 at 1.5V and DDR3 3100 at CL12-14-14-36 at 1.65V(XMP). The price of this product has yet to be announced.
