BlackBerry has just launched their first BlackBerry 10 OS based QWERTY smartphone for the Singapore market. BlackBerry Q10 will be available for purchase at all 3 major telcos in Singapore from the end of May onwards and will come in both Black and White colours. Q10 will be sold at a recommended retail pricing of 898SGD.
Singapore will be the second country in Asia where Q10 will be generally available, behind Malaysia where Q10 will start selling on the 15th this month.

Other than the benefits of a physical QWERTY keypad, an update will be made to BlackBerry 10 OS to enable more features like HDR photography and better Chinese handwriting character recognition.
