Microsoft has always been a software company providing their popular Windows Operating System for system vendors. Directly coming into the PC/Tablet market has caused some unhappiness and dissatisfaction with some of the PC vendors and manufacturers. The delay of sales in these markets was probably due to Microsoft trying to appease these manufacturers, so they do not go head on with each other, spoiling their good working relationship.
In the same news, other than the availability announcement in Singapore, Surface RT’s next stops also include Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia and Taiwan. As for Surface Pro availability in other countries outside US, it was said that Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United Kingdom will get their hands on the product in the coming months first. From our guess and judging with the timeline of Surface RT availability, Surface Pro will only come to our sunny island earliest in mid August.
