Xiaomi M3 will come in mid 2013, boasts quad core Tegra 4 processor

Not long after Xiaomi M2’s inception into the China market, M3’s arrival is already making news. No matter how popular the M2 is now in mainland China, consumers are inevitably looking forward to the next generation of Xiaomi’s lineup.

The next generation of Xiaomi’s release, the Xiaomi M3 will come with a next generation NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, LTE network and a 4.5″ display. Rumors have it that Xiaomi M3’s display will be manufucatured by Japan’s JDI, bringing 1080p goodness to the M3. The M3 is slated to come in mid 2013.

NVIDIA Tegra 4 SoC will come with a ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and each core will come from 1.8GHz to 2GHz. The CPU will be partnered with excessive amount of RAM of around 2.5GB.

Besides making Full HD displays mainstream to users in the China market, Xiaomi will also come with a 12MP camera, showing Xiaomi’s continuous improvements to the camera on their smartphones. However, the quality to the camera is not only limited to the capture size, but also the sensor and the lens.

 With all the hardware goodness within the new rumored devices, I think many potential M2 buyers will possibly wait for the newer M3 if they are not desperate for a new phone.
