According to Microsoft, the developer must make use of their Windws Live, Facebook or Google Account to authenticate themself before accessing the tools within TouchDevelop Web App. The Web App also includes demo videos for beginners to get things started, providing guidance on the various tools on the application for development. Developers can then search and look out for scripts which are created by other developers on the TouchDevelop main page, the TouchDevelop Hub.
While the web app is designed to be touch friendly and work well with touch enabled devices, Desktop and Laptop users can still make use of their keyboard and move to interact with TouchDevelop interface to develop their applications.
TouchDevelop Web App’s UI is based on the new touch interface from Microsoft, similar to the new outlook.com and msn.com portal.
TouchDevelop is still currently under research and development and more features will be included in the final release.
