XFX, a popular graphics card manufacturer, has released two new single slot graphics cards based on the Radeon 5770 GPU, model codes HD-577X-ZMF3 and HD-577X-Z5F3.
XFX gears up for the GPU race this summer – by setting its sights on PowerColor. XFX’s Radeon HD 5770 design outshines their competitor’s with an black impressive finish on both the heatsink and the PCB. Both cards are based on the ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU, which as 800 Stream Processors, and is clocked at 850MHz, with 1GB GDDR5 of VRAM at 4800MHz over a 128-bit memory interface.
While both XFX 5770 models share the same GPU and frequencies, the HD-577X-ZMF3 has two DVI outputs and one mini DisplayPort, while the HD-577X-Z5F3 has five (yes you read that right – it’s five) mini DisplayPorts.
If you are interested, you can find these two XFX graphics card around $200. If you do not mind waiting till mid-August for them, that is.

The only things limiting you to your quadfire setup in your system is that graphics card these days use up two slots. 2×4 which requires 8 of your PCI slots of the case. Most cases on the market now only features four, other than those really huge full tower cases. Single slot 5770 will certainly allow those who have always wanted to quadfire but don’t have the extra pci slot at the case to finally do so. Besides, 5770 are dropping in prices, and I’m certainly looking forward to the release of these cards! However, 5770 LOW PROFILE will be the ones that will actually fully gain my attention!
Good job xfx!
