Today, Creative Technology announced their own version of software based audio enhancer, called the Sound Blaster X-Fi MB2 Software Suite. Now everyone with only onboard audio can have the option to get premium sound quality out from your speaker systems even the need of having expensive sound card options.
Previously, I started out enhancing my audio out from my laptop by using a software called SRS Audio Sandbox. Currently, I own a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio sound card, and I must say there is is actually not much difference between the two(Could be because I’m not really an audiophile). This has led to me thinking if all the expensive sound cards are actually normal sound cards, but it’s just the software that makes things sound good? Any experts out there to answer me?”
