ASUS ROG has officially launched the ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG gaming monitor, marking the second 27-inch 4K OLED model in its lineup.
Positioned below the flagship ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM, the XG27UCDMG features 4th-generation ROG QD-OLED technology with a high pixel density of 166 PPI for sharp visuals, crisp text, and deep contrast. The 240Hz refresh rate and a rapid 0.03ms response time creates smooth, highly responsive gameplay while the ASUS OLED Care Pro now comes with Proximity Sensor for auto dimming upon the absence of the user.
Additionally, screen flickering has been improved by 29% through ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 through the use of luminance compensation algorithm that dynamically adjusts pixel brightness during refresh rate changes, with Refresh Rate Cap being a preset alternative to further help manage flicker levels.
The monitor also integrates ASUS OLED Care Pro with a Neo Proximity Sensor that helps prevent OLED burn-in. Firmware updates optimizing this sensor for both the XG27UCDMG and PG27UCDM will be available in April 2025. Additionally, ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology reduces screen flicker during intense gaming. The monitor includes features like Auto KVM, a USB-C® port with DP Alt mode and 90W Power Delivery, and Aspect Ratio Control for a versatile experience.
For connectivity, the XG27UCDMG supports DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and DP via USB Type-C with 90W Power Delivery. Designed with gamers in mind, it features a frameless panel, ROG Aura Sync lighting, a ¼-inch tripod socket for streaming setups, and a compact monitor stand with a built-in phone holder for added convenience.
