With up to 2x the cost-to-performance ratio of the previous E5 generation based on OCI’s internal testing, the new OCI Compute E6 shapes continues the platform’s long-running high-performance and cost-efficient reputation and with this latest addition, they now have a rowing portfolio of over a thousand compute instances powered by AMD EPYC processors across all major cloud service providers.

Availability
OCI Compute E6 Standard bare metal instances and virtual machines are now available in multiple regions, including US East (Ashburn), US West (Phoenix), US Midwest (Chicago), Germany Central (Frankfurt), and UK South (London), with further expansions planned in the coming months.
