Synology has recently participated in the Cloud Expo Asia 2024 hosted in Singapore last week.
With loads of guests both local and international, the brand has showcased its latest enterprise-grade solutions in data storage, protection, cloud services, and intelligent surveillance to the masses. One of the storage solutions is the A3410, designed for scalable growth, and the HD6500, built to handle petabyte-level storage requirements. These systems cater to virtualization, AI training, and other data-intensive applications.
They also demonstrated the new ActiveProtect series, providing comprehensive protection for data and workloads in enterprise environments with simplified deployment and easy scalability in addition to highly reliable features including data immutability and retention policies safeguarding sensitive data against the most dangerous of malware and ransomware.
Last but not least, the cloud-based “as-a-service” offerings in the form of Synology C2 offer C2 Storage for cloud backups, C2 Object Storage for archiving, and C2 Identity for IT management. Combining on-premises and cloud backups, organizations can adopt the 3-2-1 backup strategy, reinforcing disaster recovery efforts.
There are also smart surveillance solutions containing the new C2 cameras with C2 Surveillance Station support for flexible remote monitoring without requiring local recording servers. Equipped with AI, these cloud cameras offer real-time detection of people, vehicles, and critical events.
