Look, I know there’s a very small portion of people who likes gaming brands but refuse to own big PC rigs because it’s consuming too much space. But worry not, ROG Singapore has brought in the latest ROG NUC to solve that problem for you.
Ever since ASUS took over Intel’s NUC department, more effort has poured into the section thus the ROG NUC was born from years of experience working on standard consumer and business-ready devices.
The internals of the ROG NUC can be configured to host either an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 9 depending on your needs. GPU choices are either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or the RTX 4060. Yes, both of these sit inside a 2.5L chassis which will make installation and upgrades as well as maintenance super easy.
As for memory, the system supports up to 64GB DDR5-5600 in SODIMM form factor so be sure to take note if you want to replace or upgrade the modules, as well as 3x M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for the “boot+game+general” storage combo.
Measuring at just 180 x 270 x 50 mm inclusive of the vertical mount stand, the modular design caters to not only geeks who like to open up and mess around with the parts but also general serviceability for easy cleaning and such. The wide variety of I/O ports includes Thunderbolt 4 with 5V and 9V phone-charging profiles, 4x USB 10Gbps ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5GbE, and some DP/HDMI Out combo. And look, an SD card reader at the front? Kind of neat too.
The spirit of ROG is secured through the customizable ARGB logo with Aura Sync compatibility to match up across all ROG peripherals. Speaking of peripherals, ROG also officially certified the Raikiri Pro controller, delivering a console-like experience useful for things like RPGs.
