Global data center operator Bitdeer has announced they are enlisted as the Preferred Cloud Service Provider (CSP) in the NVIDIA Partner Network followed by the early reveal of the Bitdeer AI Cloud platform.
Getting listed as one of the official partners is just the first step for the bigger plan of Bitdeer AI Cloud to come to fruition. The project basically houses NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX H100 systems dedicated to serving the Asia region to fulfill the increasing demand for AI supercomputing in terms of generative AI, Large Language Models(LLMs), and more.
With more and more clients gearing towards cloud computing due to the flexibility of resource management with practically no hardware overhead cost, Bitdeer is confident that they can replicate their success in hash rate-sharing and cloud services in this new category of business.
In terms of when will the platform be available for public access, they are expecting a Q1 2024 release window.
Strategic roadmap-wise, 4 phases are encompassed as follows:
- Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) – Creating high-performance GPU cloud infrastructure that facilitates seamless execution of complex AI workload
- Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) – Actively develop GPU-as-a-Service platform for simple deployment and management of AI application
- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) – Democratize AI by making the tech accessible to organizations of all sizes while removing the need for in-house development
- Application-as-a-Service (AaaS) – Craft API services for easy introduction of AI into existing workflows
